H. Luger
The H. Luger shop has made our primary student level instruments for many years. They always offer outstanding value and are affordable to almost everyone. The quality of these instruments assures that a student will get off to a good start.
In more recent years, they have begun to make excellent step up instruments. These feature oil varnish finishes and highly figured maple. These fine instruments are hand carved from quality, well-aged materials. Careful attention is paid to the hand graduations and craftsmanship. As a result, these great playing instruments have a lovely sound and appearance.

There are four models of H. Luger violins. The CV300 and CV301 are very good student level instruments that come as outfits (include a nice oblong case and a brazilwood bow). They are a favorite among our dealers for their primary rental programs. The difference between the CV300 and the CV301 is that the maple used in the CV301 is more highly figured. The CV500 violin outfit is very highly figured and finished with an oil varnish. The next step up violin from H. Luger is the CV700. A finer selection of tonewood is used, and a beautiful oil varnish is applied. All H.
